The WELL Health-Safety Rating is an international system for assessing the quality of buildings and office spaces carried out by the International WELL Building Institute. It is based on a reliable – on the basis of concrete numbers and facts – assessment of the procedures used both in the entire building and in selected spaces. Five areas are verified, which include disinfection and cleaning procedures, emergency plans or water and air quality management.
In early January 2024, Business Link achieved WELL HSR certification as the first serviced office operator in Poland. Three of the operator’s locations were submitted to the assessment system: Maraton in Poznan and Centrum Południe and Green2Day in Wroclaw. All applications were positively evaluated.
In terms of practical solutions that are part of the WELL HSR certification, Business Link’s tenants can benefit on a daily basis from, among other things, air-purifying filters and ventilation systems, while air and water quality are confirmed by biannual tests. In all Business Link locations, all procedures related to the cleaning and decontamination of the office space and providing users with easy access to disinfectants are followed very carefully.
A strategic area of WELL HSR certification is also to properly prepare the emergency space and ensure business continuity in the face of challenging external circumstances. The COVID-19 pandemic highlighted the vulnerabilities of many organisations who, faced with reorganisation and tighter sanitation regulations, were unable to continue to operate in a stationary mode and took a long time to adapt to the new realities. Business Link has implemented solutions so that each location is now able to adapt very quickly to even the most challenging scenarios.
